It&#039;s really great if you go when the water levels are much lower, and it&#039;s cooler, not just because of the bugs being less of a problem but also because the alligators are just laying up on shores that don&#039;t exist right now, in plain view, all over the place. Sunning themselves for warmth. They even sit on the paths and trails sometimes! We&#039;ve spotted many nests and groups of babies in the Springtime, too, though that of course necessitates more caution than alligators normally warrant.</description>
